In the fall of 2021, I took the Photo II class at Hope College. As a part of this class I designed two major projects that culminated in installations. The first was titled "Estate." In this project, I explored estate sales in West Michigan and photographed them using a Holga (a toy camera known for its flaws -- light leaks, plastic lens, & simple mechanisms). I also photographed the sales with my iPhone. At one sale, I purchased some slide film. I combined all of these elements -- printed film photos, digital photos, and slide film -- into one comprehensive installation for my classmates and friends to see.
